This is always a fun time of the year for all us golfers even if the weather keeps us from playing....because all the new equipment has officially come out for the 2015 season.  The PGA Merchandise show has just wrapped up and thus providing us with several items to put on our spring golf wish list!

The two drivers we are really looking forward to getting our hands on in the golf shop are the Taylor Made R15(available in black or white) and the Titleist 915 Drivers.  The TM R15 has evolved from the SLDR and creates a high launch and low spin ball flight that we are looking for while still "lofting up" for better performance.  The Titleist 915 has a similar look to the 913 but is longer and even better on miss-hits!  We are expecting both drivers to perform really well in the golf shop this spring.

Irons to keep your eye on is the Taylor Made RSi 1 & 2.  These are really good looking irons with the RSi1 irons being aimed at the mid to high handicap players offering a little more distance and much more forgiveness.  The new face slot technology allows for better action on miss-hits.  As they say, "Miss Hits Happen!"  The RSi2 irons are a little more compact for the better handicappers but still provide forgiveness on miss-hits and will be a strong competitor to the Titleist AP irons and the Ping G30 product.

Pound for pound, one of the better golf balls for the money is the Bridgestone "E" series ball.  The E6 ball has a new webbed dimple pattern that will help reduce curvature and is a good low compression ball.  With its reasonable price, we expect it to be a really good seller.

While the snow is still covering the ground and the temperatures remain low, we will have to resort to watching sports on TV.  In the down time, we could start udating your golf bag for 2015!
